We do not<br \/>\nspeculate \u2013 aloud \u2013 on those not spotted<\/p>\n<p>round town since: the buttock-dented empty barstool,<br \/>\ngranny\u2019s wedding ring in Cash Converters, unclaimed.<\/p>\n<p>The outbound tide at dusk waltzes an unlaced left trainer,<br \/>\na fag packet shedding its last sodden few to the wash.<\/p>\n<p>These are the things not mentioned,<br \/>\nhushed by the gulls\u2019 leering swoops.<\/p>\n<p>We know a man who was definitely elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holly Magill<\/strong> has had poetry in various magazines and anthologies.
