\nfeed the lioness
\nbefore justice comes.
\nIt might not be the usual way.
\nIt is a way.<\/p>\n
\nyou took from the fountain,
\nfeed her the innocent face
\nplastered over guilt.
\nFeed her the Fs and the Cs,
\nespecially the Cs,
\nbreak them away.<\/p>\n
\nand see if she will eat
\nthat time when the door closed
\nand you never made it past the stairs.
\nThat one is hard to swallow.<\/p>\n
\njustice is coming!
\nBreak off that slap.
\nIt was never needed,
\nneither were the words that woman said,
\nand you held on to,
\nthrow them down.<\/p>\n
\nto divide your petty judgements,
\nyour anger, your greed,
\nthe times you covered your ears,
\nand the times you turned your head,
\nso, tear off a chunk.<\/p>\n
\nThere is little left but enough
\nand perhaps you shan\u2019t outweigh
\nher feather.<\/p>\n
