THE BOAT LEAVES MILLVILLE PROMPTLY IN YOUR DREAMS<\/span>

The company abandoned the mill in sixty one.<\/span>
What kind of boat did you say this was?<\/span>
Houses, repatriation hospital, hamburger joint…<\/span>
raise the anchor now.<\/span>
The neighborhood is sun-drenched, the best that it can be,<\/span>
so why aren't the main-sail and the jib flowing.<\/span>
Such a slow and solitary Main Street.<\/span>
Who needs solid earth anyhow?<\/span>
A farmer's in the field. Some kids are off to school.<\/span>
Can't you get this damn sloop moving.<\/span>
An ancient Packard rusts in tall weeds.<\/span>
If that's not the start of long voyage out<\/span>
then I don't know what is.<\/span>

there are at least<\/span>
a dozen interpretations<\/span>
 <\/span>
maybe twenty or so<\/span>
simultaneous meanings<\/span>
 <\/span>
it declares<\/span>
two opposite opinions<\/span>
can still be right<\/span>
 <\/span>
four opposite opinions<\/span>
righter still<\/span>
 <\/span>
it makes this solemn promise<\/span>
to me and my first coffee<\/span>
that everything begins and ends<\/span>
with the facts<\/span>
 <\/span>
of course<\/span>
it adds<\/span>
not all facts are fact<\/span>
