\nA shiny worm
\nIn the palm of my hand
\nLight of the world.<\/p>\n
\n Childhood memory<\/em>
\n Argentan<\/em><\/p>\n
\nIn the night
\nI was woken
\nby my cat\u2019s dream.<\/p>\n
\n Between two bouts of sleep<\/em>
\n Argentan<\/em><\/p>\n
\nCast by the kite
\nAbove the cemetery
\nShadow falls on tombs.<\/p>\n
\nOn plum tree branch
\nCock chaffinch sings
\nA solitary note.<\/p>\n
\n At my desk<\/em><\/p>\n
\nFirst butterfly
\nSpring\u2019s solemn promise
\nNo illusion this.<\/p>\n
\n Waiting for results of medical tests<\/em>
\n Looking out my bedroom window<\/em><\/p>\n
\nA rotting pear lies
\nForgotten in the fruit bowl
\nI too shall rot.<\/p>\n
