The kids are helping the librarian<\/span>
with a seasonal display<\/span>
they keep asking:<\/span>
is this scary enough?<\/span>

Witches&bitches<\/span>
pumpkins&trolls<\/span>
wizards&lizards<\/span>
& hungry magicians<\/span>

Ghosts&hosts<\/span>
of spooky castles<\/span>
long-legged spiders<\/span>
& The Nightmare before Christmas<\/span>

The librarian says:<\/span>
Yes and no and<\/span>
\u2026 but what do you think?<\/span>

Then the kids find a book<\/span>
in the adult non-fiction<\/span>
the most scary cover of them all:<\/span>
a man who cries.<\/span>
