and I am sick of them.<\/span>
They have no affective content<\/span>
and they try to persuade<\/span>

the listener to think about him<\/span>
the same way he would like<\/span>
to think about himself.<\/span>
I glaze over.<\/span>
 <\/span>
I think of a beaver\u2019s dam<\/span>
stretching across a river;<\/span>
a brittle construction snagging drink cans,<\/span>
plastic bags, and all sorts of crap.<\/span>
