Sunset in the East<br \/>\ncaught in streetlights overhead.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026to the white belly of a wedding<br \/>\nnight and the slow descent of clothes<br \/>\nthat slip down the moonlight<br \/>\nand crumple by Oscar\u2019s feet.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026to the wife that carries tea<br \/>\nand calls his name<br \/>\nover the moorland, opening<br \/>\nwith every step and shiver of his gown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"gmail_extra\">\n<div class=\"gmail_quote\">\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Sam Kemp\u00a0<\/strong> a graduate of the University of Gloucestershire\u2019s Creative and Critical Writing MA programme, where he focused on trickster elements in Don Paterson\u2019s <i>Rain<\/i>.
