Tremble<br \/>\nof whoops and claps.<\/p>\n<p>Right palm tipped up,<br \/>\nhe balances a tarnished salva \u2013<br \/>\nleft is a spray silvered tips.<\/p>\n<p>Fingers stroke the tray.<br \/>\nOne falling note, a tremolando.<br \/>\nCharlie takes a bow;<\/p>\n<p>levee breaks, the throats<br \/>\nare roars, applause exploding<br \/>\nlike a jar of nails.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hilary Hares <\/strong>lives in Farnham, Surrey and spent 27 years using the power of words to raise money for charity.
