It's the start of the fly-away holiday season, and I think we've all been here…<\/span><\/p>\n

Please Read the Safety Instruction Manual<\/span>


He donned a yellow jacket, pretend blew down<\/span>
a red whistle.  Then he pointed in front Of himself <\/span>
and to either of his sides.  As he did so a woman\u2019s <\/span>
voice spoke in flat monotone.  Cramped on and <\/span>
around a uniform row of blue seats with seatback <\/span>
videos and built-in drink trays, was his section of <\/span>
almost nine hundred passengers. Three or four rose <\/span>
to switch places during his pre-flight performance.  <\/span>
It was his first flight, so airborne colleagues placed <\/span>
peanuts in his replica seatbelt; they fell to the floor <\/span>
as he held it up and opened it but no-one laughed or <\/span>
even saw.  Some were attending to crying children.  <\/span>
A lot were fumbling in their hand-luggage.  At his<\/span>
estimate over half of them had drank alcohol in the<\/span>
lounge before boarding.  In the portion he would be <\/span>
tasked with the evacuation of <\/span>in case of emergency<\/span> <\/span>
nine were occupied by literature. Seven of those the <\/span>
overpriced in-flight duty-free catalogue.    <\/span>
