\non a cappuccino scurf.
\nOut there, the horses break
\nrelentless, Shire hooves kicking up
\npasts. Fairy lights string
\nthe ships in, a bistro siren
\nbig on gratuities and gulfweed.<\/p>\n
\nand my son out with it,
\nhe is only a dot. It isn\u2019t that
\nI don\u2019t trust his father\u2019s rowing, only
\nhis feet don\u2019t touch the bottom.
\nI see goggles – lost
\na midnight vigil
\ntiny rib bones
\nhooked on a rock.<\/p>\n
