It was then my fellow drinkers<br \/>\nsuggested the title \u2018If it\u2019s New Daffodils to be Dying in May\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>And on reaching the last stanza I sense a colouring occur<br \/>\nan interruption making clear<br \/>\na simple lyric poem<br \/>\nattempting an escape from a simple lyric poem<br \/>\nin recognising quite a few have been taken in this way.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul Little<\/strong> works and lives in London.
