\nto be broken for the first time and no-one
\nis standing here, among the quiet men,
\nwhose long souls have begun to shrink
\nin a polite manner.\u00a0 Scars healing create
\nthe same effect, by slow tightening
\nas the initial wound begins to dry.
\nIn another place, to which reference
\nwas made earlier, cardiographic studies
\nhave shown how hearts not damaged
\nare so rare it is quite possible that they,
\nstatistically speaking, may not exist at all.<\/p>\n
