Eight Dream Errata<\/span>


\u2022    It\u2019s not a case of awaiting<\/span>
      your arrival at Drummer Street Station.<\/span>
      We\u2019re together again on the Thames.<\/span>
      <\/span>
\u2022    Some anomaly of space and time<\/span>
      below deck and the waterline<\/span>
      makes the narrowboat wider<\/span>
      within than without.<\/span>
      And since I see you <\/span>
      now and then,<\/span>
      you\u2019re eighteen<\/span>
      and maybe ten.<\/span>

\u2022    We turn a corner like a clock,<\/span>
      climb eight steps in a single lock.<\/span>

\u2022    The boat is so stealthily slim<\/span>
      we straddle it, father and son.<\/span>
      It steers itself<\/span>
      like a life.<\/span>

\u2022    We glide, at night, through the moon,<\/span>
      which, as you know, is forbidden.<\/span>

\u2022    The river\u2019s lovely,<\/span>
      wide and deep,<\/span>
      and all that\u2019s passed<\/span>
      clasps hands in sleep.<\/span>

\u2022    The sky is brighter for the storm.<\/span>
      Downstream lies unbroken, still.<\/span>
      Cygnets give birth to their swans.<\/span>
      <\/span>
\u2022    You say you love me, <\/span>
      and always will.<\/span>
