Catch On The Fly<\/span>

Full barrel up 53 north,<\/span>
heading to Lake Zurich, IL,<\/span>
Christian talk radio 1660<\/span>
on the radio dial,<\/span>
crisp winter day<\/span>
sunbeams dancing down<\/span>
on the pavement like midgets.<\/span>
85 mph in a 65 mph zone,<\/span>
just to aggravate the police,<\/span>
black Chevy S10 pick up,<\/span>
shows what a deviant I am<\/span>
in dark colors.<\/span>
Running late for a client appointment,<\/span>
creating poems on a small hand held recorder<\/span>
knowing there is not payment for this madness<\/span>
in this little captured taped area of words.<\/span>
Headlights down the highway for a legacy<\/span>
into the future, day dreaming like a fool obsessed.<\/span>
Working out the layout of this poem or getting my ego in place,<\/span>
I will catch up with the imagery when I get back home.<\/span>
This is my life, a poem in the middle of the highway.<\/span>
Scampering, no one catches me when I\u2019m speeding<\/span>
like this.<\/p>\n

on the balcony<\/span>
today,<\/span>
different<\/span>
sounds in all<\/span>
different directions \u2013<\/span>
my thoughts follow them.<\/p>\n
